BIOGRAPHIE

Aracely Méndez, mujer tseltal, lesbofeminista, hija de padre y madre migrantes. Es socióloga de formación, participa en una diversidad de redes y grupos a nivel nacional para la promoción de los DDHH de las mujeres. Cursa en la Escuela de Cine Documental de San Cristóbal de Las Casas, realizando “El cielo es muy bonito”, un cortometraje documental sobre mujeres en movilidad en el sur de México. Aracely Méndez, Tzeltal woman, lesbo-feminist and movie-maker, daughter of a mother and father that migrated. Aracely has a degree in Sociology and partakes in a variety of groups and networks throughout the country promoting Women’s Human Rights. Studies at the Documentary Cinema School of San Cristóbal de Las Casas producing the short documentary film 'The Sky Is Very Pretty' about women migrating South Mexico.
