BIOGRAPHIE

Kolfinna Nikulásdóttir is an Icelandic artist working as a writer and director for stage, video and gallery. Her creations express emanations of the female experience and often have autobiographical flavor. Kolfinna uses the act of questioning in order to re-envision society and behavior through story. Kolfinna has been nominated and won numerous prizes including the Icelandic Theater Academy Awards and a nomination for the best Nordic short at festival Nordisk Panorama 2022. Kolfinna is currently writing a tv-series and preparing to direct two plays in the National Theater of Iceland in 2023.
