Diogo Aurich

BIOGRAPHIE

Diogo Aurich was born in 2002, in the city of Salvador, BA, but grew upstate, in the city of Vitória da Conquista, birthplace of renowned director Glauber Rocha, who influenced his world perspective and his vision of cinema. He enrolled in the Cinema and Animation course at Armando Alvares Penteado´s Foundation - FAAP, even though keep pursuing projects related to music, joining orchestras as violinist. As a student, Diogo joined an internship in the publicity market for the company São Lucas Day Hospital, and posteriorly, another internship in CID Worl Productions, as background artist, among others. Furthermore, he worked as an assistant for short-films produced by fellow students like “Nossa Terra”, “Mise en Place” and “Gato do Mato”. In his fourth semester, he was the co-director - alongside Valentina Angel - and the art director and concept artist of his first short-film, Rosas Brancas (White Roses).
