Robin Epstein

BIOGRAPHIE

First time director Robin Epstein is a writer, runner, professor, and astronaut* (*in her own mind). Beginning her career as a comic and television writer, Robin has written for The New York Times, Quartz, Medium, Marie Claire, and Glamour among other publications. She’s written multiple award-winning Young Adult novels, the Groovy Girls series for Scholastic, and she’s adapting her first book, Shaking Her Assets, into a webtoon for Pocket Comics. A contributor to This American Life on NPR, Robin has also been lead writer on video games for Atari and Activision. She attended Princeton University and got her MFA from Columbia University. Robin currently serves as Area Head of Episodic TV in Tisch's Department of Dramatic Writing at NYU where she's an Assistant Arts Professor.
