BIOGRAPHIE

Trine Vallevik Håbjørg is a Norwegian independent animation filmmaker. She has been exploring different mediums during her career, from animation film via graphic work, photography and screenwriting. She is trained as an animator and photographer educated at University of Oslo, Volda college and at The Oslo school of architecture and design. The prizewinning animated short doc. “When I hear the birds sing” from 2016 was directed, and written by her. In 2013 she co-founded the independant production company Råsalt together with Øyvind Tangseth. The company does animated short films and commissioned work, but is mainly focused on independent artistic work. Trine V Håbjørg is also engaged in the Fredrikstad Animation Festival, where she has been the leader of the board since 2012.
