BIOGRAPHIE

PV Lehtinen was born in 1969 in Helsinki, Finland. He studied film at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. Besides directing and screenwriting, he formerly worked as a film editor. The Crawl is the director’s second film in his trilogy on the relationship between man and water. The first film in the series, The Diver (2000), centres on the Finnish living legend, high diver Helge Wasenius.
