BIOGRAPHIE

Megan Lim En is a Singaporean filmmaker interested in exploring absurd and hilarious stories hidden in plain sight - whether it’s a family mourning their pet rabbit or two friends searching for an elusive cabbage statue.  Her most recent film, The Cabbage Statue, premiered at the 32nd Singapore International Film Festival and won the jury award at the Youki Youth Film Festival in Austria. It will have its North American premiere at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth in 2023.  Peace Funeral Home is a comedy short supported by the *SCAPE Film Facilitation Programme, under the mentorship of Filipino director Carlo Francisco Manatad.
