BIOGRAPHIE

James Haggarty is a Melbourne/Naarm, based narrative film director and writer. He recently graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts (Film & Television) where he completed his graduate project We, the Children of Caterpillars. Through his work, James is often interested in telling stories centred around the exploration of existentialist themes and ideas, with a desire to express and share them in a way that is both accessible and engaging to audiences. He is also passionate about challenging the form of filmmaking to create unique and inventive work. He is currently in pre-production on two new short films as well as in development on multiple other projects including a feature script.
