BIOGRAPHIE

Shaya Chesner (30), an Israeli son of parents who were immigrants from the United States, was educated in the Israeli Religious Educational System. He attended and graduated from Jerusalem’s Horev Yeshiva High School. Following high school graduation, Shaya attended the Eli Premilitary Academy and enlistedin special forces of the Israel Defense Force in 2015. He served in the capacities of sergeant in combat and in training of new recruits. He is a graduate of the Maaleh Film School and of Herzog College. In addition to his film studies, Shaya has a degree in communication and literature. Together with his wife Moriah and his children, Maayan Simcha (3) and Itai Michael (2 months) he lives on Kibbutz Ein Tzurim. Today he is director of his own media production company.
