BIOGRAPHIE

Andrea Lausevic is a filmmaker/artist currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Film at HFBK in Hamburg. Born in Belgrade in 1991, Andrea completed her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK and went on to earn a Master’s in Gender Studies at the CUNY GC in New York City, where she lived and worked as an art director for over a decade. Under the guidance of Professor Angela Schanelec at HFBK, Andrea is eager to continue exploring her passion for storytelling and visual expression. Her artistic and writing practice centers around the themes of identity, belonging and motherhood, utilizing different media, from photography, painting to video and film.
