Oliver Würffell

BIOGRAPHIE

Oliver Würffell's love for filmmaking hasn't changed since he first picked up his parents' camcorder as a child. After graduating summa cum laude at University of Konstanz, Oliver began to work in production during his time in Munich. In 2011, he took his unique style of filmmaking and branched off into the freelance directing world. In 2015 his work for Print Magazine Vangardist won the Cannes Lion, D&AD and the Europbest. His follow up “Frozen Tundra” not only put him on the map of international production companies, it was licensed by the biggest league in the world - NFL - in 2019. However, it is Oliver's genuine love for understanding narrative that gives all his work - from high-end TVCs to long-form documentaries - a tangible cinematic quality so in the fall of 2020 he directed his very first short film “Tears of Love” that will globally premiere in 2023.
