Edda Reimann, born in 1986, studied Creative Writing at Deutsches Literaturinstitut Leipzig and Scenic Writing at the UdK Berlin. Following her studies, she worked as a playwright and author for the radio. Her two plays ("In deutschen Sümpfen sterben" and "Bestandsverelendung") were nominated for various theatre awards. She is an editor of the literary magazine "Edit - Papier für neue Texte" and has been studying directing at Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin since October 2019.
