BIOGRAPHIE

After working many years as a foreign correspondent in Paris and London, I studied social pedagogy and visual communication in film and television. In recent years I have done a great deal of work for television but I have also worked as a freelance filmmaker. The underlying theme in all my films is existential life situations that are difficult to bear. Prizes: Ecumenical Television Festival, Helsinki Best Film, Young Spectrum Cologne Conference Main Award Work and Dignity, International Film Festival Gdansk German Women’s Media Award Juliane Bartel Nomination for German Television Award
