BIOGRAPHIE

Né en France, passé par l’Italie, David Padilla reste fidèle à sa double culture. Avec la volonté d’inscrire son identité dans son travail de scénariste et de réalisateur, il rassemble sa passion du cinéma et du fantastique afin d’élaborer « Cultes ». C’est en qualité de technicien de plateau aguerri pour avoir collaborer avec de nombreux réalisateurs (Dupontel, Emilio-Siri, Gatlif, Du Welz…) qu’il projette le défi sincère d’une création atypique et audacieuse à travers son premier court métrage. Having grown up between France and Italy, David Padilla is loyal to his dual culture. With a desire to integrate this identity in his work as a screenwriter and director, he joins his passions for cinema and the fantastic to create “Cults”. It is as a seasoned set technician who has collaborated with numerous directors (Dupontel, Emilio-Siri, Gatlif, Du Welz…) that he takes on the challenge of an unconventional and ambitious project with his first short film.
