BIOGRAPHIE

Kofi A. Ntiforo is a self-taught Ghanaian filmmaker with close to 7 years of multi-industry experience working on small to large-scale projects. His passion for film was ignited by accident when he accidentally opened Adobe Premiere Pro while studying Quantity Surveying for his first degree in 2013. This discovery fuelled his curiosity and hunger to learn the best ways to capture and tell stories which led him onto an exciting journey of filmmaking. He has since fallen deeply in love with the art form of making short films and commercial content. He specializes in writing, directing, editing, and motion graphics animation. Commercially, some of his clientele include Wired, L'Oreal, Starbucks, Johnson & Johnson, The Drum, Uproxx, and Heineken. He holds an MSc. in Project Management from Northumbria University which comes in handy with his organisational and team skills on and off set. While studying in London, he assembled a cast and crew of friends to create his previous short film "God Spelled Backwards', which was awarded 4 international awards and 12 selections including two wins for 'Best Cinematography' at the Europe Film Festival UK and Garoa Awards in 2020. Some of his favourite directors are Andrei Tarkovsky, Djibril Mambety Diop, Martin Scorsese, Jordan Peele, and Mati Diop.
