After studying physics and political science, Alexandre Cornet completed his doctoral thesis on the geographical economics of natural resources. Alongside his research, he developed artistic projects and trained in film and visual arts at the Sorbonne and the Lussas documentary school, before joining Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains. His artistic approach is influenced by his background, and seeks to build bridges between art and sciences, critically examining our relationship with technology and nature, memory and geography. His work and films have been shown in cinemas and galleries as part of festivals, conferences and group exhibitions (Louvre-Lens auditorium, Arlequin and Reflet Médicis cinemas in Paris, Lussas cinema, Panorama exhibitions at Le Fresnoy and the Galerie Commune in Tourcoing, festival du film court de la Sorbonne, festival court en champagne in Aÿ-Champagne, jury prize at the compagnie des oeillets festival in Ivry-sur-Seine, médiathèque Louis-Aragon in Bagneux, Maison de la création et de l'innovation in Grenoble).
