BIOGRAPHIE

Hugh is an aspiring storyteller and filmmaker. Originally from China, he embarked on an exciting journey when his family and him moved to Canada when he was 14 years old. Since 2018, Hugh has been on a filmmaking journey, immersing himself in various genres like documentary, brand, event, fiction, and experimental films. This diverse exposure has finely tuned his skills and allowed him to experiment with different storytelling techniques. Hugh has also accumulated valuable hands-on experience on indie/student sets, navigating roles from gaffer and camera operator to drone operator. These opportunities have deepened his comprehension of the filmmaking process and fortified his technical proficiency. His work has been screened at Vancouver International Youth Film Festival and featured at cineworks independent filmmaker society.
