BIOGRAPHIE

Samuel Bereuther is a screenwriter and director with roots by the baltic sea. After finishing his bachelor's degree in cultural studies, he started studying directing at DFFB film school in Berlin in 2023. For his short film “Jockstrap Jesus” he won the German Independence Award at the 30th International Filmfest Oldenburg; in the same year, his short screenplay “Andi Arachnid” was awarded with the screenplay award “Deutscher Nachwuchs-Drehbuchpreis”. He is currently working on a feature version of the latter.
