Mia Harvey

BIOGRAPHIE

Mia Harvey is a British documentary director, producer and cinematographer. After five years in the British television industry, she is currently studying Directing Documentary MA at the National Film and Television School, where she was awarded a BBC Scholarship. As a producer she has worked on a variety of documentaries including, the BAFTA nominated Black Power: A British Story of Resistance (BBC ONE), executive produced by Steve McQueen and James Rogan. She was also selected for Sheffield Doc Fest UK Broadcast Production Talent Market 2021. Mia’s directorial work aims to expand people’s perception of women, Black identity and the human condition through intimate observational films.
