Solveig Herzum

BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Solveig Herzum is a documentary and fiction director, producer, and writer who grew up between Chicago, USA and Genoa, Italy and now lives in London. She is a recent grad of the National Film and Television School’s MA in Directing Documentary and has directed several short films in both fiction and documentary genres (The Greener The Grass, Morning After, The Picnic). Coming from a background in theatre and devised story-making, her filmmaking approach forefronts contributor-led participation and collective storytelling, with an emphasis on resistance to the status quo.
