BIOGRAPHIE

FR: À travers ses oeuvres, Julie Redon Lissouba explore les thèmes indissociables à sa vie : le voyage, l’identité et un point de vue anticolonialiste engagé. Suite à un baccalauréat en littérature et en cinéma à Montréal (Canada), Julie poursuit ses études en cinéma à La Casa Del Cine (Barcelone, Espagne) où elle y apprend l’art du documentaire. C'est de retour au Québec qu’elle poursuit le microprogramme en réalisation documentaire à L’institut national de l’image et du son, où elle y réalise le court-métrage, « Sans attaches » (2019). Fasciné par la direction, elle entreprend le Programme Cinéma du même Institut qu’elle termine en 2020 avec la réalisation du court métrage de fiction « Ève et Fatima ». En 2022, elle continue de se former à la technique à travers le programme de direction de la photographie de l’Inis. Returning to Quebec, she continued her education in documentary filmmaking through a microprogram at the L’inis (L'institut national de l'image et du son), where she created the short film 'Sans attaches' (2019). Driven by her passion for directing, she embarked on the Cinema Program at the same institute, culminating in 2020 with her directorial achievement, the fiction short film 'Ève et Fatima.' In 2022, she further expanded her technical skills by enrolling in cinematography program at L’inis.
