BIOGRAPHIE

Sadie is an actress, writer/director, singer, and writer. She attended Crossroads High School in Santa Monica and graduated from University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts in the shocking time of spring 2020. She resides in Los Angeles, but hopes to split her time with Paris and New York as well. She is Californian to the core - born in a small town in Northern California and raised in Los Angeles. The dichotomy of her childhood, a Central Valley Ranch and “New Hollywood” of Santa Monica fostered her curiosity about the way people think and feel, the stories on every road, home, and heart. Her mother being a fiddler, Sadie’s coming of-age years were filled with roadtrips and folk music, which have guided much of her aesthetic tastes. She fell into theatre at Crossroads School, where she was a member of the Drama Conservatory. By some happenstance, her house happened to be down the block from the Writer’s Guild of America West, where she found out she could read any script ever written - and her screenwriting obsession began. She went on to study critical theory and filmmaking at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where she began writing and directing coming-of-age short films ranging in themes of cancer, sibling relationships, female friendship, and foreign romances. She spent her junior year living in Paris and London, joining drama conservatories in both countries (and languages!), while studying both French cinema and British theatre. After joining the improv class at the Paris-based theatre school Les Enfants Terribles, Sadie is fluent in French, and hopes to work bilingually and transnationally.
