BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Originally from Brazil and now living in Marseille, Gael Barboza graduated from the Kourtrajmé Marseille Film School in 2021. Fuck la sororité (2024) is his first fiction short film produced by Kourtrajmé & his own production company African Dream. He has been a member of the Netflix Grow Creative network since 2021, an incubator for top talent from French film schools. He has also published 5 collections of poetry and 2 novels, notably on the issue of being black in France. He's actually writing "Le Petit Harlem" his first feature film as a screenwriter, produced by Michael Gentile for The Film.
