BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Dima Stoianov was born in Moldova, receiving his education in Romania, Moldova and Sweden. Dima worked most of his professional career in TV and investigative journalism, turning to filmmaking in 2016 with the screenplay "PRACTICA/DAYDREAM'', ultimately produced by BRIO Studio and directed by the prominent Moldovan director - Igor Cobileanski. In 2017 he wrote the screenplay called "THE ISLAND", which got attention and entered script development and pitch programs at international film festivals in Sarajevo, Transilvania and Cottbus IFFs the same year. In 2020 his another screenplay, "HORA" was part of the pitch program at Transilvania Film Festival.
