BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Having his debut acting roll in the feature film "The Peacock" following the short "Utväg", Kalle Waern decided to write and direct himself. His debut short "CALF" (original title: Kalven) is in its road genre a sociological question to the audience. A film recorded in his home village and on the world's most northern savannah - Alvaret - with an urban character put on the very countryside of Sweden. After his acting studies in Brighton, where he wrote Kalven, he started his film studies in Sweden and has since directed two short films excluding this one. Kalle is 23 years old and lives in Falkenberg, Sweden.
