BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Marcela Bruna. Photographer and filmmaker, with studies in Documentary Film, Photography and Visual Arts, currently living in the city of Valdivia. Since 2006 she has developed her photographic work in various areas, collaborating in national and international publications. In parallel, she is part of the groups Cooperativa de Fotógrafas and Colectivo Las Niñas, with which she has developed activities related to management, such as the coordination of the Encuentro de Mujeres Fotógrafas FOCOM (2013-2015-2017); the development of training and dissemination projects, such as Bitácora de una Pandemia (2020-2022); and research projects, such as "Históricas" archive (2019-2023). Her link to filmmaking begins in 2017, currently with her production company MAB she is developing a series of short films that address the invisibilization of women in the history of Chilean photography through the works of 3 women photographers of the twentieth century, being the short film "Frida" the first of them. In parallel, he co-directs with Matias Riquelme "Si el Río Suena", a web series that portrays the musical circuit of the Los Ríos region and its link with the territory.
