[EN] Maximilian Nita was born in Germany in 1993. Before beginning his film studies in 2017 at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, he initially worked as an assistant director for television and cinema film productions. During his studies, he realized several short films as a writer and director. Maximilian Nita's scenic works focus on social conflicts and problems. His latest short film Tenez was funded by the Film and Media Foundation NRW and marks his fifth collaboration with actor Linus Scherz and the fourth with cinematographer Lena Katharina Krause. Tenez was selected as a "Film Market Pick" for the Festival du Court-Métrage Clermont-Ferrand 2025 in February and won the Oscar-qualifying category "Best Narrative Short" at the Dallas International Film Festival 2025. Max Nita lives and works in Cologne.
