[EN] Helia Behrooz is a female Iranian/American filmmaker. She studied computer science in Iran before relocating to the United States. She recently graduated with a degree in film production from CSUN in Los Angeles and currently continues her education in Business Administration. A Morsel of Love (2022, Iran) & Bolour (2023-Iran) are her first and second directorial and Production debut as student projects. She exclusively creates films that delve into subjects that resonate deeply with her or lead her on a journey of exploration. Filmmaking is not merely a profession for her; it is a deep-seated passion. It serves as a medium to challenge norms, shatter taboos, and spark dialogues on uncomfortable topics, as well as to venture into uncharted territories of self-discovery and understanding the world. Her fascination lies in the intricacies of human psychology and behavior.
