BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Manuel Coser is a writer, director and filmmaker. His work focuses on activism, human rights and environmental issues. He started by working in reporting and with investigative television programs. Coser’s shift to documentaries came with encountering the social filmmaking of Daniele Segre. He directed “Corridoio 5” (Best Film at ValSusa Film Fest 2013), and “L’incorreggibile” (One World – International Human Rights Film Festival, 2021, SalinaDocFest 2021), distributed theatrically and for which he won the Solinas documentary award in 2016. Mr. Coser experimented with the use of VR in the interactive doc “Babel – Judgment Day” (Biografilm Festival 2019, Festival dei Popoli 2019, Carbonia Film Fetival 2021, on view at the National Museum of Cinema of Torino in 2022). L’acqua verde is his first work of fiction.
