BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Irene Z'graggen, born May 17, 2001, in Locarno, Switzerland,is a young filmmaker who is passionate about cinema of the real and documentary. From a young age, she has nurtured her love of cinema by attending the Locarno Film Festival, which has helped shape her artistic vision. Passionate about small everyday stories she is fascinated by the ability to capture reality through the power of images, she moved in 2022 to Milan to attend the Cinema and Animation course at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti). Her first documentary, “El Cabrer”, won the first prize in the “Best Short Documentary” category of the Milan Short Film Festival in 2023 and Jury Special Mention at the Naba Cinema Awards.
