BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Myriam Arleth gained her first experience in the film industry during an internship at Naumann Film, where she acquired her first directing experience with the film "Red Cell" as part of NFTraineeprojects. During an internship at Mediaschool Bayern, she had the opportunity to make four short documentary films. With one of these films, "Im Namen Gottes", she won a prize at the youth and children's film festival "Flimmern und Rauschen" in 2019. Myriam Arleth then began training as a media designer for image and sound at Enrico Pallazzo GmbH. Alongside her apprenticeship, she directed her first own fiction short film "Eine kurze Zeit", for which she co-wrote the screenplay with Luis Weindl. After successfully completing her training in 2021, she worked in Madrid for the film production company Smiz&Pixel as an assistant director and production assistant. At the same time, she applied to the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf with "Eine kurze Zeit" and began her directing studies there in winter 2023.
