BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Nguyen Pham Thanh Dat is a young director currently pursuing his career in Hanoi after graduating from Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema, majoring in Film Directing. In 2022, Thanh Dat’s short film project “Páo’s Forest” won the First Prize of the "My Vietnam" contest launched by Netflix and the Best Short Film Award at the Hanoi International Film Festival 2022. The film was also selected in TOP 20 CILECT - International Association of Cinema and Television Schools the following year. In 2024, Dat’s graduation short film “Wooden Fish Guitar” helped him become the valedictorian of Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema. Most recently, his short film project "Ashes Of Milk" has been selected in the TOP 5 best projects of the 2024 CJ Short Film Contest.
