BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Vincent Jondeau is a filmmaker and artist based in Berlin. After a first degree in the field of human sciences, he will be graduated in 2024 from the University Paris 8 with a double master's degree in film studies (art history / cultural management). He followed additional photography training at Berlin's Ostkreuzschule through Jessica Backhaus' seminar, culminating in a group exhibition at Kunstquartier Bethanien in 2024. He was also featured on the cover of the catalog for the Biennale Photo Mulhouse 2024. His filmic and photographic work is based on hybrid methods, with which he attempts to develop ecological forms of narrative by decentring the human gaze and including the perspective and memory of plant and animal beings. Alongside his personal artistic practice, he works in the field of artistic heritage preservation and had the opportunity to work for organizations such as the Wim Wenders Foundation or the Alfred Ehrhardt Foundation, as well as being a member of the Youth Jury for the Festival Cinéma du réel in Paris in 2020.
