[EN] Matt Gaynes is a Director and Editor residing in Atlanta, GA. He began his work in the Atlanta post-production scene cutting highlights for NBA.com at Turner Broadcasting (now Warner Bros. Discovery), where he currently serves as a Senior Editor for TNT Sports. As a director, Matt made his debut with the 2012 WWII period drama ‘Angels of Mercy.’ He has directed multiple music videos for the pop/soul band The Shadowboxers, including one for their 2020 single ‘The Slow March of Time Flies By.’ In the documentary space, Matt directed pieces for 3 seasons of NBA TV’s magazine-style show ‘Beyond The Paint.’ He made his return to scripted narrative directing with the 2024 family drama short film, ‘Flush.’ Matt is a two-time Emmy award winner for his work on TNT's 'Inside the NBA,' where he has edited projects like The NBA Playoffs on TNT's 'The Doctor Is In' commercial campaign, as well as open teases for LeBron James's All-Time Scoring Record Setting game and the 2022 NBA All Star Game. His latest project was editing the open tease for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games for Eurosport's European Olympics coverage.
