BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Dong-hyun GWON × Sea-jung KWON (formed in 2020 and based in Seoul, South Korea) attempt to move beyond the human–animal dichotomy by pursuing narratives and images that explore this relationship through entanglement, connection, and love. They work in documentary, which navigates reality, and in a sculptural practice that lies between objects and ideas, using both media to develop their language. They held a solo exhibition, Love Death Dog (2023), YPC SPACE, Seoul, South Korea, and have participated in numerous group exhibitions and film festivals, including Young Korean Artists 2025: Here and Now (2025), MMCA Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea; You Cannot Elaborate the Dark Thickness of Night As They Can(2024), Doosan Gallery, Seoul, South Korea; 49th Seoul Independent Film Festival, Seoul, South Korea; and Terra-Informing (pre-program of the Seoul Mediacity Biennale) (2022), Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul, South Korea.
