Rodolfo Croce

BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Orefice (1980), named Fabio, from Castrovillari, and Belusci (1978), pen name of Rodolfo Croce, from Turin, met in Milan in the early 2000s, becoming a creative duo in one of the most important international communication agencies. Their first experiences on set were in advertising. After a few years, they decided to seek new challenges. Fabio founded a production company and dedicated himself to directing, photography, and CGI. He collaborated on the artistic project “Emozioni” (Emotions), an intimate journey connected to the musical synapses of the soul. He took part in major advertising productions related to Cinema with Stefano Sollima and Matteo Garrone. He experimented with music videos, nurturing his desire to engage with Cinema. Meanwhile, Rodolfo followed the same path. He has been a creative consultant for television networks and publishing houses, and author of podcasts, TV series, and essays on cinema, communication, and literature. His debut novel, “Ghiacciaio,” was highlighted at the Premio Calvino. Studying screenwriting, he attended seminars with Umberto Contarello, Stefano Bises and Massimo Gaudioso. Meeting again after years, Fabio and Rodolfo decided to join forces and give birth to a common artistic project drawing on their respective experiences. Their first experiment was a self-produced short film in 2021, “Bahamas,” a rehearsal for their subsequent directorial and authorial endeavors.
