[EN] Multi-artist working in audiovisual and theater. Graduated in Theater and Psychology from Fordham University (NYC, USA) and Design from FIT (NYC, USA). As an actress with an international career between Brazil and the USA, she has more than 30 years of experience. Latest films: Estômago 2 – The Cookfather (dir. Marcos Jorge), Uma Família Feliz (dir. José Eduardo Belmonte), Traição Entre Amigas (dir. Bruno Barreto), 13 Souls (dir. Paulo Nascimento), Somewhere, Tomorrow (Somewhere, Tomorrow Award for Best Actress by the Woodengate International Film Festival and Fest Filmes Online), Julieta de Bicicleta (Troféu Vento Norte for Best Actress by the Santa Maria Festival and the CineForte Festival) and Nervo Craniano Zero (Best Actress Award by the Hollywood Investigator). In the USA, she acted on TV in series such as Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent and in films such as Segredos na Noite (Miramax) and The Mercy Man (Champawat Pictures). In theater, she has performed on the stages of the Goodman Theater (Chicago, USA), Woolly Mammoth Theater (Washington DC, USA), and Williamstown Theater Festival (MA, USA), in addition to working with numerous theater groups in Curitiba, such as Obragem, Vigor Mortis, Armadilha, and Setra. In a parallel career as an audiovisual set designer, she has worked on feature films such as Jesus Kid by Aly Muritiba, A Mesma Parte de um Homem by Ana Johann, and Foram os Sussurros Que Me Mataram by Arthur Tuoto; in theater, she has accumulated 12 nominations for Best Set Design at the Gralha Azul Awards, having taken home the award 3 times with the plays Marlon Brando, Whiskey, Zumbis & Outros Apocalipses (Vigor Mortis); Salomé by Fausto Fawcett (Cia do Urubu); and Airbag: Uma Comédia de Costumes Plagicombinada (Processo Multiartes). Founder of the production company PREGO TORTO, she aims to give prominence in her productions to women, the elderly and/or children in roles and scripts that are far from stereotypes. Her directorial debut is happening in 2025 with her short film Try Your Luck, which uses a mixed language between theater and cinema to focus on the issue of domestic violence against women. In December 2024, she shot her second short film, Um Olho Outro Olho, a script by Juliana Sanson starring actress Guta Stresser. Her feature film Unclaimed Copper (working title) is in the financing phase.
