[EN] Luna is a bilingual film director with a focus on the female gaze. Her films focus on rebels who navigate the tension between opposing truths. With a collaborative approach to directing, she fosters creative dialogue to ensure every element serves the story. Her distinctive perspective—shaped by a transition from sound engineering to filmmaking—has made her a proactive and resourceful creative. She is co-founder of the emerging production company Señoras del Arte Films and lectures in screenwriting at Escuela TAI. Her work has been recognised across the international festival circuit, with highlights including “Retroism Now. Vinyl revival in the digital age” (MK2CORTOFEST), “The Great Debate” (Top 25, Straight 8; screenings at BFI Southbank, LSFF, and Picturehouse Cinemas UK), and “Sweet Survival”, a feminist thriller led by a majority-women crew, selected for FEST New Directors and Torino Underground, among others. Her latest film, “RIMA XXX”—a black-and-white short inspired by a poem by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer—is her most recent work on the festival circuit and marks the first production from Señoras del Arte Films.
