BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Freyja released her documentary film ‘Rjómi’ (eng.‘Underdog’), in 2018. ‘Rjómi’ premiered at Skjaldborg Film Festival, received Jury’s Special Mention, and was broadcast at RÚV a few months later. Subsequently Freyja turned to script supervising, assistant editing and DIT work, on projects such as ‘Summerlight and then comes the night’(2022), ‘Descendants’ (2023) and ‘Felix & Klara’ (2024/2025). She has also worked with Heather Millard on various projects, the latest as a producer on the documentary ‘The Home Game’(2023), that has won several awards at festivals around the world, and currently as an associate producer on the documentary ‘On Time & Water, with Oscar nominated director Sara Dosa.
