BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Vera Martynov is an artist and stage director of Ukrainian-Russian origin, currently based in Marseille. With a strong background in experimental theatre, she now works across video, performance, text, and visual art, often exploring intimate experiences. Her interdisciplinary practice blends diverse media into poetic, total artworks. In her recent film EN GARRIGUES, she reflects on grief and survival, collaborating with Sabine Garrigues after the Bataclan attack. Martynov has created installations and performances across Europe, the U.S., and Russia, and continues to explore themes of silence, resilience, and inner transformation.
