BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Kylie Aoibheann is an award-winning Australian transgender writer-director. Her short films include the psychological horror See for Yourself, streaming in Australia on national broadcaster ABC iView, and documentary Farewell Happy Fields, with celebrated poet Fiona Wright. In 2024, she won Screen Australia's Gender Matters Taskforce Screenwriting Prize for her short supernatural horror script The Dysphoria. Based between Sydney and Melbourne, Kylie is in development of her debut feature Deadname: a supernatural horror supported by Screen Australia and Australians in Film (AiF).
