SYNOPSIS

[EN] After her father's death Johanna returns to her Swedish home village with her German husband August and their daughter Alva. Unexpectedly, her former lover Elis appears and confronts Johanna with her unfulfilled longing, which makes her doubt her loyalty and her concept of a happy living.
