SYNOPSIS

[EN] KASKASKIA combines documentary and fiction to create a melancholy and absurd filmic tone poem about a tiny community by the Mississippi River. Influenced by French New Wave and American gothic, the film offsets the present with history and myth and elicits a fugitive sense of time and place.
