SYNOPSIS

[EN] The Turkish Empire expanded towards Europe throughout the 15th and 16th centuries. Hungary, the bastion of Europe, halted the invasion. Up until this very day, the bells ring at noon to celebrate the day the pope declared a crusade to protect Europe from the Muslim peril in 1514.
