SYNOPSIS

[EN] Built in 1962, Leith’s Cables Wynd Estate, known locally as the "Banana Flats", became notorious as the centre of Europe’s 1980s heroin epidemic. In 2015, it borders two Michelin-starred restaurants. A local photographer and former resident documents the triumphs and tragedies that exist.
