SYNOPSIS

[EN] Inspired by Henrik Ibsen’s theater piece by the same name, WHEN WE DEAD AWAKEN is a poetic portrait of a woman, Irene, and her fight against the lingering feeling of internal existential dread. The film is an artistic attempt to put images to the rebirth of a person.
