SYNOPSIS

[EN] A film about the relationship between a mother and a daughter. Victoria Benedictsson, a Swedish author of the 1880s, wanted freedom, new impulses and a place in the world of literature. She chose the role of artist over the role of mother, a classic female dilemma. Her daughter Hilma paid the price.
