SYNOPSIS

[EN] Sumba is a small island at the eastern part of Indonesia that still upholds their old traditions strongly. Through these traditions, the position of women in Sumbanese society is being reduced to managing the kitchen. As modernisation comes, these traditions are being challenged. But change must also be treated carefully, because it creates new realities.
