SYNOPSIS

[EN] An old Brazilian legend says that "Saudade" was created by the African gods so that slaves would not forget their beloved, nor where they came from. Denize Galiao has been living in Germany for twenty years. Her father's disease provoked the Afro-Brazilian directress to explore her roots and her deepest feelings for her parents' home country, a connection she doesn't want to forget.
