SYNOPSIS

[EN] Seemingly endless grass-lands, wild tulips, steppe eagles hunting: a magic circle of seasons with winters at -40 and summers at +40 degrees Celsius. This is the setting for the director‘s happy childhood on a tiny Soviet military base in Ural. Only decades later does she learn about the terrible nuclear testing in which her father participated as lieutenant of the Red Army.
